Akira is the representation of the creator Akira Toriyama that he uses in his works and other places. In the first arc we see Akira in a tree as Goku, Bulma and Turtle head to the beach. In the second arc we see Akira's wanted posted a long side two others, one being Launch. Akira's picture is crossed out with a list of names. This may mean he was caught and those where the people that caught him.
