Summary
Goku, Bulma and Oolong are travelling to Fire Mountain with Yamcha and Puar following close behind. Meanwhile Mai and Shu are heading back to Pilaf's castle with the hope that he will accept their failure, but know he is not like that. When they make it back at first they are surprised by Pilaf's kind reception before getting punished. Goku, Bulma and Oolong stop in sight of the mountain. While waiting for them Yamcha see a young girl being chased by a dinosaur. In fear she throws a blade off the top of her helmet, chopping off its head, then zaps it with a laser. Yamcha startles her and she shoots the laser at Yamcha. Yamcha knocks the girl out and heads after the group at Fire Mountain. Goku tries to use the Flying Nimbus to get to the castle, but the flames are too hot. He returns and just as the Ox King appears. Ox King assumes, correctly, that the group is there to steal from his castle and attacks them. When Goku uses the Flying Nimbus the Ox King knows he must be pure of heart and ask if he knows Master Roshi. He ask Goku if he can retrieve the Basho Fan from Master Roshi, and that if he sees his daughter, Chichi, to take her with him. He sent sent her out to get the fan earlier. Yamcha realizes that the girl he knocked out earlier was Chichi. Yamcha rushes back to make sure she is okay, afraid of what the Ox King will do if he finds out. Yamcha finds Chichi still knocked out and makes sure she is okay. He tries to smooth things over with Chichi and then flees when she is distracted. Goku happens by soon after and tells her that her father sent him. She joins him on the Flying Nimbus and they fly to Roshi's island.
